The Hard Isn't Going

John Stuart Mill's work is demanding of individuals, but not so much of society. He wanted a sort of more learned and kind of clever people to be more influential than the uneducated mass. But on the other hand he would accept and did actually explicitly accept on various occasions that he was wrong about something.
