Every one of us want the divine accolade. To receive the accolades of a parent is a beautiful thing. It's just when our identity gets wrapped up in what we're doing that seeking of approval can be so damaging. As an artist delights in his work or a son, it seems impossible. A weight or burden of glory which our thoughts can hardly sustain. The reward that God gives can never be separated from God himself.
