Church Leadership Reflects This Extreme Conservatism
Cities are predominantly more liberal politically, versus oly conservative rural and semi rural suburbs. This conservative conservatism is partly due to the higher education in cities and lower education in rural areas. What's maddening to liberals like me is that they really have no way to effectively avoid the calling of extremist conservatives as local church leaders. Liberals are often given marginal callings, if any calling at all. And most importantly, local church leadership reflects this increasingly extreme conservatism.
