Pel: Can we think of it in indian context or contextual terms, contemporary contextual terms? Pel: I stumbled upon this ausian paper, which was on ostrom's work. And you'd be happy and both surprised to know that all of what she said has been, has been extens ly at play in india. One fifth of our land is a common pool resources, around forty five to 60 million hectors. Unities that have strong previous traditions tend to be non exploitative towards ancentr communities. Communities that have shared understanding, shared idea, shared origins, tend to benon exploitative towards the common resources.
