Repurposing Statistics in Grad Stats
The idea of repurposing things, what we learn as well. If you got four different categories in your nominal variable, the end of your noir, then you can code that with three quantitative predictors. So we are manipulating the numerical scaling of our predictor so that I get these numerical values that may have some meaning to me. We learn this in grad stats instead of zero and one.
