The skill of listening can actually impact the direction of a conversation, and impact people being willing and comfortable to divulge more. The ratio of how much speaking to the other person should be at a minimum 50:50. If you go into a podcast interview with a set of questions, maybe you did your home work, like you're saying, rock, and you wrote out all these beautifully crafted questions. You just read through your questions without really listening to how they've answered those questions ort get at super meta here. Anda, and kind of being comfortable being uncomfortable in that is is, i think, a skill which lends itself to getting to the nuggets of wisdom.
