This is exactly what people in the art market do. The art gallery goes to their best clients and says, hey, this new show is coming. There's thirty pieces. Here's fifteen of them. You can buy it at this great price if you buy them right now. Great. Thank you for the cash. Other fifteen are there. Then people bit up those last 15, and their scarcity, then those people sell five of those paintings, triple their money, and they got the original ten for free.
