The Brain Is a Thing Like the Internet
The brain is not identical to the internet. I think it uses similar tricks, but it's not exactly the same. So how does one part of the brain decide or hoose some other parts of the brain to communicate with a given chunk of the brain? There may be a variety of different mechanisms at different s. One seems to be this kind of oscillatory activity. But sometimes you'll see pockets of of syncrany very brief. May be for a second at most, but you'll see populations of neurons kind of flashing together for a little while andthe and then stopping.
