What Can I Do When I Go to the Poles?
This isn't a reconciliation issue, nor is it an indigenous issue. This is a human rights violation that is affecting all canadians. We have to look at what the first nations and indigenous communities are saying on how to redress issues. From me working with the communities, i i see that the people know what's going on, and they have the solutions to fix them. So it's just the government's lack of listening. It really brings us back to the indian act days and paternalism before we get to what the various parties are actually promising in their platforms.
