I noticed that in Vietnam where the, I don't know what their rules of the road are, but like just from as a casual observer, I'm going to guess they weren't adhering to the rules. But I felt safer there. It was like the level of the tense was higher and everyone was doing logical things all the time. Like you'd have someone who was kind of going backwards through a lane, but they'd be doing it for like half a block on the edge of the street.
