Because of government and social safety nets, there's more different ways to control people than there have been before. Some people even find it creepy if they're Spotify suggests a song that they might like or targeted advertising. These are things that people find somewhat creepy. And what I think part of our difficulty in understanding human beings is this inherent evasiveness that we have where we don't want other people to predict us.
