The Future of COVID Vaccination
The WHO has a committee called the tag COVAAC, it's the technical advisory group on COVID vaccine composition. It is constantly monitoring not only the evolution of the virus, but also these studies which are looking at the effectiveness of the vaccine across different populations and demographics. That will inform us actually whether we will need new and adapted vaccine. In India now, we have a couple of vaccines that have been made using Omicron. And I think the Bharat biotech nasal vaccine also uses Omicron if there is a clear need.
