The Use of Naloxone in Opiate Induced Cardiac Arrest

The resuscitation council UK says that naloxone may be given for cardiac arrest associated with opioid overdose but its benefit is uncertain. Paracysmal poisoning is a hugely common presentation to the emergency department and it's going to depend on your dose as well as how long you're in there. The use of activated charcoal should be considered those that are presenting within an hour of potentially toxic congestion.
