You can quickly disconnect if the hose is on. The only thing is when you're connecting it, there'll be a little bit of water that will kind of like quickly spread out before it closes off. I've always wanted to go all in on them, but I haven't been able to do it. Unscrewing a hose fitting is such a pain in the butt.
