Among the Celts there is a poison called by them Aeropoison which they assert produces corruption so quickly. The bark of the oak was found to be an antidote for this but others maintain that the antidote is something different. Some of the Ligurians sling so skillfully that when they see several birds they contend with one another about which bird each is preparing to strike. In Etruria there is said to be a certain island named Ethelia in which out of a certain mine in former days copper was dug and all the copper vessels amongst them have been wrought.
