The Vidioern HBO Max Ap Is Wider Than the 11 Inches, Right?

It's even wider of a design than the 11 inches at ra slake. It's more wide screened, i think so. When you open and ap that's made for other eyepads and not and not optimized for this one,. it has black bars on the top and bottom in portrait orientation. So that would make me think it is wider. But when you're watching video, like in the h b o max ap, and you've got not only the black bars on top and bottom, but now you've got bars on the sides as well... very odd.
