The Importance of a Security Job in the Israeli Army
In 1983, Reisner was sent to Lebanon as part of the Israeli army's security detail. He spent his days checking Lebanese workers going into Israel and nights on guard duty. After about two weeks he was called by the unit commander who asked him to command their squad for the remainder of the period.
