The Importance of Spirituality in Orthodoxy
I started off with this great passion for the natural world which arose when I was a child. There was something there that I can put my finger on that was very clearly kind of mystical or divine not that I would have understood that or use those words. It's just so obviously wrong and I still feel that there's something very spiritually psychologically broken about a culture that can do that stuff all the time. We're inoculated against it right with all that. You sort of go looking for God everywhere but Christianity. And we should be more sustainable although we should, it was the as I said there was a sense that something was really wrong in the way we were living.
