The Myth of Chosenness

There's definitely a lot of baggage that comes with any sense of chosenness, right? But I do like the, there's some counter text in the Jewish tradition. It takes away the idea of we're special or we're innately different. That's what matters as opposed to any particular quality. Maybe the metaphor is like God went around offering science to all the life forms, but we were the only ones that said, okay, fine, we'll take that burden.
