The Importance of Leaning on Judgment

In the past, I've been more data-driven in my work. In this case, we had to stop relying on experimentation and step back. Every experiment wasn't really positive or wasn't really negative, it was really just neutral. It became increasingly hard to figure out what's going on where we can't make any positive or negative effect. We were at the top of one hill. We knew there were other bigger hills. And so that then opened up a period where there was a lot more experimentation we could then do incrementally once we got to that new baseline experience.
