Magic cards went from a slow burn to gas on fire in the last few years. It was like the roaring 20s flapper period, there's money flying everywhere for anything nerdy. Since the cards have been shown to hold their value and get more valuable, people see them as an investment. That was 2019 and it's all just gone up since then.
