The Importance of Homeownership

People should buy homes who can afford them. That is the only criteria. Banks aren't out there discriminating based on race, gender or sexual orientation. The government has already stopped that from functioning with these guarantees. A lot of people are able to buy homes that they never could have bought but for that government guarantee. But people are better off renting than buying.
