The Death of Joash
The money from the guilt offerings and the sin offerings was not brought into the house of the Lord. It belonged to the priests. The workmen who worked on the house were paid for their services honestly. But there were no basins of silver, snuffers, bowls, trumpets or any vessels of gold or of silver given to them with it. Joash's servants killed him in a conspiracy by Jazakar and Jehoshaphat.
