Neandertall tools show us that neandertals were more advanced than we often give them credit for. Archaeologists have observed other primates, like cimps and benobos, making tools in the wild but they lack some important skills. They don't seem to have the same understanding of geometry in order to be able to come anywhere near to the more complicated methods of making stone tools as neandertas had mastered. So no more blowing up caves, even though it was probably called ta watch exactly wo ts hiding in the dirt.
