The Lordship of Jesus Christ

The word Lord means master. Sometimes was the word that they would use when they referred to a land owner. So that's the word in the Greek, the kyutios, that it means master. It's like the owner of something. And so Jesus asks the question, why do you call me this when you don't do what I tell you? He goes on and he says, everyone who comes to me and hears my words and does them, I will show you what he is like. This gives you a great understanding of what Lord means.
