The Importance of Processing in Generative Art

You can do generative art or creative coding in a lot of different programming languages, but by far the most popular language to do it in is JavaScript. And so when you're doing creative coding, this is the case for just all types of coding in general. It's basically giving artists the ability to use some of these prebuilt tools to extend their art within their scripts and not having to roll their own.
