The Role of Race in the Selection of City Managers
There's a whole other component to this experiment where they could have been randomly assigned to be placed in a different context one where they are making choices about who's going to be hired. We see the same basic pattern but they do shrink a little bit but it's really not that big a difference for all the four racial groups. All become not statistically distinguishable from the 50 benchmark so things shrink alittle bit but not really enough to say a whole lot about. The most commonly used tool is this racial resentment scale and how is it usually interpreted by political scientists.
