Is There a Need for More Structure When Sharing Data?

One big issue that we found was a lot of public data sets of coved 19 patients where bined and re released under a new name. It would be very nice if we could regulate what data is shared publicly. Or at least if people share data publicly they make it very clear where the data is source. And i know i've said this many times but what potential biases could exist in the data that you're releasing?
