Weight Bias Against Women - Grace Lemon and Grace Lemon

Dr. Habiba Williams, a nurse practitioner at the University of Virginia's inpatient abdominal transplant unit, and Grace Lemon are here to talk about anti-fat bias. Their research found that 75% of people who self-identify as overweight reported experiencing weight-based mistreatment or bullying because of their weight. People who were stigmatized made career-altering decisions based on how they felt; some even committed suicide.
