What's the Difference Between Fiction and Poetry?

John Berger is one of our great thinkers about what storytelling might be. I find that the way I know how to dramatize interiority and exteriority most effectively is often with a version of myself. If you want to make a point about an artwork that doesn't exist, you can write it into the fiction. For me, I have no fidelity, whatever, to my lived experience in fiction.
