Is There a Cross in Marriage?
Marriage is a laying down of your life for the good of others and raising them up through your own self, emptying vice. And that's one thing that i think isn't talked about enough with the marriage vocation. I forget who it was who said, the problem with living sacrifices is that they keep crawling off the altar. But when you throw down your cross, or when you're tempted to, you've every reason in the world to do it, it feels right. It seems like this is the way to life. Yes. We can't flee from the cross.
