Jorro fishermen harvest almost 14,000 tons of clams each year. Climate change is having an obvious effect on the po delta. 1500 men and women work the Jorro Lagoon. Clam fishing is more like farming the seabed than traditional fishing. The water temperature day is just right for winter, but in recent years, the temperature has stayed around 11 degrees Celsius.
