The Case of a Wheat Grower
"There's no commerce it's entirely intra state yeah um it's intra farm it's intra far the wheat he is growing is not leaving his," says author. "Because he grows his own wheat he's not participating in a market and that means like if one guy does it okay no big deal but if everybody starts doing it then it completely destroys the whole purpose of the wheat quotas" The case has gone all the way to the supreme court, which upheld the quota for farmers who grow their own wheat.
