Is There a Foundational Churn Model?
I suspect that there's a lot of the same thing happening in lots of places. I could envision some kind of foundational churn model that understands propensities to do something based on other things. Even if the inputs are fairly heterogeneous, and luckily within industry, there are not very many companies that span multiple distinct domains where they're trying to predict credit card fraud and disease outcomes at the same time. So yes, this notion of transfer learning or even industry specific foundation models actually do potentially make sense globally across all data sets.
