The Importance of Positive Feedback in Teaching

I've seen so many teachers and whole schools try to implement a new program or a new methodology and just throw their hands up after six days. I always tell folks, you know, this is sort of a little bit off topic, but in the spirit of innovation, don't freak out when one kid says, "I hate what you've done." That shouldn't move you from innovating. But if you're reaching the bulk of students more effectively, that's super powerful.
