How to Plant Bare Root Roses
When it comes to planting bare root roses these are the roses that are dug up in early autumn their roots shortened and their top growth cut right back. They can be transported and packaged and sent all the way around the globe so many of us plant bare root rather than container grown roses. Don't plant them as we used to do in beds solely devoted to roses surrounded by gray and dusty earth, they're happy with things like hardy geraniums, most border perennials or vialers.
