In some ways, this race to develop cheap solar PV was a race against big countries like China and India industrializing. And we would maybe just be in a very different place if that had come through. Vietnam, Indonesia, Nigeria could be the big growing economies in the next 20 years. They have a chance to do that without fossil fuels.
