I was raised in a culture that said you date to get married. You don't do anything but have a husband. That is what you were trying to do. Then I found myself at 37 questioning everything because I was coming out of a relationship with a lot of deceit and a lot of lies. And now you're looking at him, he's also got his own stuff that he's supposed to deal with. It's just, it's really a mind screw. Like it's just really dangerous.
In this episode, I talk with Rachel Hollis - NYT Best-Selling author of "Girl, Wash Your Face." We talk about "good girl syndrome," should you date for marriage, soulmates, and not becoming a "fixer" in your relationships.
My new book "That's Bold of You" is available on Amazon!
