He should have acted more decisively and forthrightly in firing the people who did the thing that he told them to do. This was on him. He took the pardon, said, thank you very much. These other people did this bad thing. Good bye. And stil the pardon didn't achieve any kind of a cathartic acknowledgment on his part. So the public didn't really get any ind of benefit, except the benefit, i guess, of less polarization.
