Anne's father, frustrated by her behaviour and the impact that it was having on his business, arranged a marriage for her. But instead, she got married to a sailor named john bonney. In 17 18, they went to the bahamas, where john Bonny started to work for governor woods rogers as an informant against pirates. And there's another version of that story as well, so she hired a woman pretend to be her mother so that she could book passage. And then she met john bonny and married him after she was already in the bahama. So two differing accounts regardless.
