The Importance of Perception in Music

I want the music to come out of the speakers as if the band was in the room that I'm in and experience it as if they're here playing for me in my space. My feeling is if you hear the room that therein it doesn't take into account the room you're in the listener. How how aware are you of the perception of the work you make after it comes out? Are you aware at all or just you make it a mini move on.
