Is She Going to Get Rid of That Cat?
"I enjoyed writing about her. Sometimes I was so mad at her," she says of Tom O's Madison. "The cat got me too." She inherits a cat, but doesn't want it and gives it to someone who desperately needs his cat taken care of. The second he leaves, she drives it up to the animal shelter and dumps it in the crate in the parking lot.
