Zionism Is Not About Hiding, It's About Declaring Yourself
Zeev jabtinski wasn't a diplomat like witsmen, or a technicrat like bengurion. He hated the stereotypes of jews as these little weaklings. This is what he did. He spoke to the need of an oppressed people who had been beaten down for so many years. And zionism was as much about standing up and declaring yourself as it was about escape or survival. These conflicts are going on in the 19 twenties. Just as the arabs are trying to find a way rally their people to come together and stay focused, the zionists are trying to do the same thing.
