Carstairs and the Bahamas Colony
Carstairs started something called a colored league of youth and wrote a manifesto for it, which said things like, colored people do not prosper in the way they should. In a bid to be named governor of the bahamas colony, they built this league up and bought some black people off with the promises of land for political loyalty. The white bohemian abolishment, feared and disliked carstairs in the league and tried to control it. And it did end up folding when many black bohemians were sent off to fight in the second world war. Carstairs would continue to pirate ships that ran aground on whale key and submit the stranded crews to their own laws. They fell short
