The Polish Army in the War of Independence

The Polish army would enter the war with 70,000 men in cavalry units. This did not mean that there were no mobile forces in the Polish army. To come up to full strength, the Polish army would still need a period of mobilization which would not be provided. Each infantry division would plan to receive about 6,000 additional men at the time of mobilization.
