In Go, sometimes like the pertibile representation of a type in JSON is not what you might expect. So if you serialize an int64 toJSON with protocol buffers, what you get is a string. Swagger covers that, but it also covers kind of the shape of your REST API. It's solver-bose. Like it's just scads of nested payloads and data shapes.
