When the investment world first started, people only put their money into corporate bonds or government bonds. In the 19 sixties, there was a phenomenon where marow lynch and others began to tell everybody that anybody could be an investor. So anybody could put some money together and buy stocks. And then when the four o one case and the roth i r a came along, more or more people had money in programmes that were largely equity based.
