The Purpose of the Experience Economy
The optimal experiences are those that get you into a state of flow. Flow is when you're so engrossed in an experience that everything else washes away, all sets of time goes away. We have a model called the four E's because basically it's the four realms of experience. There are four genres of experience: entertainment, educational, escapist and aesthetic.
