Are the Basic Moral Claims That Lutherans Are Making Political?

Some of the basic moral claims that christians are making have now all of a sudden become political topics. We cannot bind people's consciences to things that are not clearly in scripture and are outside of our realm of domain. Lutherans have never taken that position, and we absolutely should not take that position. I don't want to delve into those issues. That's beyond my realm of authority. But i do have this etat this ministry and my calla working for the seminary of the a l c. And doesn't mean i won't share them in personal conversation or mention them as a theologian.
