Judaism in the Exile and Diaspera

The zealots were the militants who instigated a series of little rebellions through this roman era, not just the two big wars. So you get this kind of crazy ferment of like, different groups hiving off, saying, how are we going to do judaism under this bad political situation? They all try different things, but ultimately, as we said, the temples destroyed, jerusalems destroyed, the people are dispersed. The question then is, which form of being jewish, or carrying on judaism works the best in the conditions of exile and diaspera?
